This web site has been put together by Chagford Health Centre Friends & Patient Group. The aim is to support and enhance health and well-being by highlighting the wealth of activities, clubs and community groups as well as the many support and advice services that are available in and around Chagford.
Chagford Health Centre Friends & Patient Group is made up of volunteers from the Chagford Health Centre patient list and its purpose is twofold, namely to support the Health Centre and to link it with the community.
We support the Health Centre through occasional fundraising activities, promoting health and well-being through non-profit making events and community workshops.
We link the Health Centre with the patient population by meeting informally with surgery staff to make them aware of the views and concerns of their patients. At the same time the surgery brings us up to date with any new policies, services or changes and we pass the information back to the community.
