Ever wondered what’s behind that wall in Mill Street. It’s us – Chagford Bowling Club. We welcome new and experienced bowlers of any age, to experience the delights of lawn bowling, in a relaxed social environment.

We are a very friendly group of mainly retired people who meet every first and third Wednesday in the month to carry out a good morning’s work, sometimes a day.
Our focus is to conserve the soft landscape, footways and environment around our town, along with various other projects.

Fun & friendly fitness …. All over body workouts suitable for mixed abilities and age groups over 12yrs. We combine body weight cardio exercises to aid strength, condition & improve heart health. A great calorie burner too if you are watching your weight!
Just bring yourself dressed in suitable clothes to work out in, a water bottle and a little enthusiasm! Mats provided.
Jubilee Hall. Tuesdays 6.30-7.30pm. £6 per session if paid upfront for the month or £8 per session pay as you go each week.

Chagford Runners are a relaxed friendly group with a wide range of running capabilities and always welcomes people to join with their runs.
These are generally on Monday nights at 7pm (often from the clubhouse on the War Memorial Playing fields) and on Saturday’s at 10am usually from the Square.
Away runs are organised too.
The club runs a season of Apsire to 5K training once a year.
